Google, you consciously or unconsciously use one of their services. In the Netherlands, the name Google is mainly known for their search engine. And say well, there is no search engine that displays better results? Google takes into account more than 200 (!) Factors before displaying its search results. But even if you consciously opt for a different search engine, you will undoubtedly use a different Google product and you will be one of 900 million active Gmail users or, like President Barack Obama or the Pope, you will have your own YouTube channel. In fact, YouTube is so popular that for the first time in 2015 it had more visitors than Google.com itself. And what about Google Chrome, the most used web browser per country, or Google's Play Store? As one of the trillion monthly active Android users, you certainly can't ignore Google.
... and Google loves the world
Google is a leading company in many ways. For example, it takes the environment into account and has already invested billions of dollars in clean solar and wind energy projects, their data centers use 50 percent less energy than normal data centers and recycles the 100% of its electronic device that leaves this data center.
In addition to their care for the environment, care for their employees is one to learn a lot from. In 2015, the number of full-time employees at Google grew to 61,814 and it was voted best employer by Fortune for the seventh time in 10 years. And that is not surprising when you look at all the rewards and benefits that it offers its employees. From massages and travel insurance to death plans and being allowed to take your dog to work; Google clearly loves its employees.
