A consumer trends article is really complete with one gadget list, especially when the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) has been again. Now there are of course countless smarthome solutionssmart tvs, smartwatches and smartphones, self-driving cars and devices for automatic Cook, to brew beer and fold clothes. I expect the following three innovations available this year to make a major impact:
- Google Stages. A streaming gaming platform that allows players to play at lightning speed from desktop, mobile, the Chrome browser, your TV and even a Chromecast. With this streaming service you can play the latest games without an expensive PlayStation, Xbox or gaming PC. The official Stages website is already in Dutch, so when launched the Netherlands will probably be included immediately.
- Impossible Burger V.2.0. Most consumers just like to eat meat, despite the animal suffering or the impact on the environment. The company Impossible Foods therefore developed a vegetable-based hamburger that really tastes like meat. (supplement: fake meat maker Beyond Meat expects to be able to raise around 1.2 billion dollars on the stock exchange)
- DS3. As the world's largest CPG companies, Procter & Gamble has a major impact on the environment. DS3 is a new product line of soap and cleaning products that do not contain water or require plastic packaging. Add water to activate. The question is: how interesting is it for the average citizen who has to choose mainly from his wallet?
