Do you want to use images without references? Source of this photo is http://www.flickr.com/photos/gsi-r/4767700249/.
Have you just written a great blog, then you will spend a long time finding images. Recognizable? As a blogger you always need images. They illustrate your story and provide the right feeling and appearance. However, images cost money, or can be found with (a lot of) effort. And you must always do attribution. The solution I would like to offer you: create your own images. Without Photoshop.
1. Take your own photos

You don't need a super de luxe photo camera for every photo. Take photos of advertisements (here the new AH Bonus card), messages in the newspaper or simple objects such as your keys. Provide a non-disturbing background and enough lighting.
2. Take a screenshot

Do you write a lot about online matters such as Facebook, email or Twitter? Make a screenshot of it. Refer back to the source.
Screen hunter is a free program to easily make screenshots with. Works really perfect. That's how I made this screenshot of the Donald Duck Facebook page.
3. Create a Tag cloud
This Wordcloud is made with: Wordle (which will no longer work as of December 2020 - but luckily there are many alternatives: https://monkeylearn.com/word-cloud/ and https://www.wordclouds.com/ for example. Wordle did not let you save your Word Cloud but only put it on the internet. So make one Screenshot from.
4. Create a Word Mosaic
This Word Mosaic is made with Image Chef . There is a limited choice of images.
5. Reuse freely usable images

This is a screenshot of a Word file. I used a freely available image in this. By changing the transparency, I made 6 versions. I distributed this over the Word file and made a screenshot of it. Word is Photoshop for dummies for that matter
Screenshot made with Screen hunter.
6. Make a Meme

Internet Meme's are recognizable and immediately evoke an association. There are countless Meme generators for creating and saving all kinds of meme's.
I made this with the Uncle Sam Poster Generator. You also have www.memegenerator.net and Quickmeme.com.
