Bloeise is based in Den Helder, and I have been living in this beautiful maritime maritime city since my 3rd year. As an involved citizen I started the Facebook page on July 22, 2012 Love Den Helder: only positive messages and beautiful photos from Den Helder. With the aim of improving the image and giving the residents a sense of pride. With every photo that is shared a jutter says: this is Den Helder, that is my beautiful city!
Facebook for Den Helder marketing
Facebook is the means for Den Helder's marketing: large potential reach, viral content gets more attention and is shared, content from other pages can be easily shared and it is a visual medium. A beautiful photo says more than 1000 words and immediately evokes a feeling.
Den Helder is becoming more beautiful
I say sea city, not a marine city. A city needs a storyline that continues and fascinates. The long storyline of Den Helder goes over the sea: once as island of Husiduna, later as whaling village Huisduinen, fishing village Helder, the Gibraltar of the North of Napoleon, Naval city and now Port city with 5 different ports.
Hidden Den Helder
Many people know Den Helder primarily as a ferry port for the island of Texel. And when you speak to some people, Texel seems closer! For many people from Helden, Den Helder is a wonderful city to live in, with a clean beach (the cleanest in all of North Holland!), With the most sunshine hours according to the KNMI and an enormously diverse history. And the MarineMuseum has been selected by members of the ANWB by the Best Outing of the Netherlands! In short: we no longer have to keep secret how nice Den Helder is! Are you in?
